REVINE is an innovation project of the Partnership for research and innovation in the Mediterranean Area (PRIMA) program, which aims to mitigate the effects of climate change in the Mediterranean, showing that the application of regenerative agriculture is capable of preserving water resources and soil fertility, controlling erosion, and creating physicochemical soil conditions that increase the presence of beneficial microorganisms.

This will be achieved through the combination of acquired knowledge of physiology, pathology and genetics, as well as innovative applications in agronomy and breeding processes. The means used in the project, namely the application of biostimulants, biofertilizers and the use of tolerant/resistant genotypes provide more environmentally sustainable alternatives to existing control methods, and allow reducing the use of chemicals, consequently increasing food safety and promoting human health and of plants.
